Where we help

When conformity becomes
a project bottleneck.

We turn unclear requirements and fragmented documents into a practical, traceable route forward.

01

Unclear requirements

A new machine, a new market or a complex installation — and uncertainty about which requirements apply.

02

Incomplete documentation

Risk assessments, instructions and declarations exist, but do not yet form a consistent body of evidence.

03

Changing responsibilities

Importing, private labelling, integrating or modifying equipment brings new questions about your role.

Practical experience

Real project questions.
Usable results.

Anonymised examples from conformity and documentation projects.

Interchangeable equipment

Conformity alongside development

Applicable requirements, risk assessment and documentation were prepared in parallel with the design.

Result: A coherent documentation basis including instructions and the declaration of conformity.

Interconnected production line

Bring the installation together

An upgraded installation combined several supplier packages. System boundaries, responsibilities and interfaces needed clarification.

Result: A structured overall assessment and coordinated documentation.

Imported lathe

Respond to an authority request

Manufacturer documentation was reviewed, gaps identified and technical evidence updated.

Result: Structured authority communication and a completed documentation basis.

Robot integration

Understand the effect of a modification

An existing process installation was extended with a robot system. The changed status and safety implications required assessment.

Result: A clear regulatory assessment and consistent, updated documentation.

Machinery Regulation Roadmap Sprint

REGULATION (EU) 2023/1230
How we work

A clear process, from the start.

01

Understand

Clarify the product, target market, responsibilities and project status.

02

Review

Organise existing documents and identify gaps and inconsistencies.

03

Assess

Connect technical reality with relevant requirements and evidence.

04

Deliver

Provide documented decisions, usable files and a prioritised action plan.

Questions, answered

Before you get started.

Is CE a certification?

In many cases the manufacturer carries out the conformity assessment and declares conformity. Certain products and assessment procedures require a notified body. An external certificate is therefore neither universally required nor a substitute for the complete process.

Which documents are useful for a first review?

A product description, drawings, circuit diagrams, existing instructions, risk assessments and declarations are useful. If these are incomplete, we agree a practical starting point. Please arrange confidentiality before sending sensitive files.

Can existing documentation be reused?

Yes. We assess its suitability, version and product reference, then supplement or correct it where needed.

Who remains responsible?

The manufacturer or other responsible economic operator retains the obligations assigned by the applicable legislation. juristech provides technical assessment and documentation support within the agreed scope.
